Galgorm Melts and Lauren Kelso Illustrator Workshop
Terms and Conditions and Participant Waiver

These Terms and Conditions apply to all workshops hosted by Galgorm Melts and Lauren Kelso Illustrator. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms, which comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK & NI).

1. Booking and Payment

Full payment is required to confirm your booking.
Select FREE COLLECTION at checkout to avoid unnecessary postage charges.
Your email confirmation acts as your ticket—no physical ticket will be issued.
Only those who have booked and paid in full may attend, unless otherwise agreed with the organisers.

2. Cancellation Policy

All bookings are non-refundable after 48 hours from purchase.
This event qualifies as a fixed-date leisure activity under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and is therefore is exempt from refunds.
If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please email their name to galgormmelts@gmail.com at least 24 hours before the event.
No-shows will not be refunded.

3. Workshop Arrival and Format

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for setup and avoid disruption.
Participants must be 18 or older to attend, due to insurance restrictions.

4. Accessibility

We strive to ensure venues are accessible to all.
If you have specific requirements, please contact us in advance.

5. Allergens and Medical Disclosure

Refreshments may contain nuts, gluten, milk, or other common allergens. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Materials used include essential oils, fragrance oils, soy wax, and botanical elements amongst others. Safety data sheets are available on request.
If pregnant or living with a medical condition, please consult your GP before participating.
Gloves and aprons will be provided. We aim to provide a safe space, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

6. Conduct, Health and Safety

A safety briefing will be given at the start of each session.
All participants must follow instructor guidelines and safety instructions.
Alcohol and drug use are strictly prohibited. Anyone under the influence will be removed without refund.
Tools and materials may include hot wax (approx. 70°C), glassware, and sharp objects. Caution is required.

7. Photo/Video Consent (Optional)

We may take photos or videos for promotional use. Participation is optional and you’ll be asked for consent at the event.

Participant Waiver Form

This form must be read and then signed at the event, before participating in the Galgorm Melts and Lauren Kelso Illustrator Workshop. It outlines your responsibilities and potential risks in accordance with UK and Northern Ireland law.

2. Medical and Allergen Responsibility

I understand the workshop involves fragrance oils, essential oils, soy wax, scissors, glue, and glassware.
I acknowledge wax is heated to approx. 70°C, and I will exercise caution when handling it.
If I am pregnant or have a medical condition, I confirm I have consulted my GP.
I accept full responsibility for any reaction or health condition resulting from my participation.

3. Allergens and Venue

I understand that refreshments may contain allergens (e.g., nuts, gluten, milk).
I acknowledge that an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
Safety and allergen information is available upon request.

4. Liability Waiver

I release Galgorm Melts and Lauren Kelso Illustrator from any liability relating to injury, allergic reaction, illness, damage, or loss arising from my participation in the workshop.
I understand I am responsible for my own safety and wellbeing.

5. Conduct and Safety

I will follow all safety instructions provided by workshop instructors.
I understand the risks associated.
I accept that anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave without refund.
I will take note of fire exits and health and safety information at the event.

6. Photo/Video Consent (Optional)
